"They've been going a year and they still can't do a cartwheel properly"
You've paid for four terms. They enjoy it, they don't want to stop — but nothing has really moved, and you've started quietly wondering whether your child just isn't very good at this.
They almost certainly are. A recreational class is often one coach to twenty children for forty-five minutes. Take out the warm-up, the register and the queuing, and your child gets four or five minutes of actual coaching. A year of that isn't a year of training.
It was never about talent — it was about ratio. Small groups, two coaches, and a progression tracked every single week. That's usually all it takes.
