This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you join the Acrotrix Dubai waitlist, contact us, or enrol your child with us.

What we collect

We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, photograph, medical information or any other identifying detail at the waitlist stage. We only collect an age range. Fuller information is collected at enrolment, and separate consent is obtained then, including for any photography.
Why we can use it
- Because you asked us to. Joining the waitlist is a request to be contacted about Acrotrix Dubai. We use your details to answer that request.
- Because you gave optional consent. If you ticked the marketing box, we may also send you occasional news, events and offers. You can withdraw this at any time and it will not affect anything else.
- Because we have a legitimate interest. We use aggregated information about areas and preferred times to plan our timetable and choose venues.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Netlify — hosts our website and receives form submissions
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) — where you contact us through an advertisement, a lead form or WhatsApp
- Google — where we store waitlist records and use analytics
- Zapier — moves information between the systems above
Some of these providers store information outside the UAE. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual data protection commitments.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or by a regulator or court.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Meta and Google. Our website uses the Meta pixel, which records that you visited a page or completed a form, so that we can measure whether our advertising is working and avoid showing ads to people who have already signed up.
You can control how Meta and Google use your information in your own account and device settings. You can also decline non-essential cookies through your browser.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist records — up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted
- If you enrol — for the duration of your membership and up to 7 years afterwards, where we are required to keep business records
- If you ask us to delete your information — we do so promptly, unless we are legally required to keep it
Your rights
Under UAE data protection law you may ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
Email hello@acrotrix.ae and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
To stop marketing messages, reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us. You will still receive messages relating to a class your child is enrolled in.
Children
Our services are for children, but our website and forms are for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We limit access to your information to people who need it, use reputable providers, and keep records only as long as we need them. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, we will tell waitlist families directly.
